The
Manta Dive people know their stuff - Safety is their No.1
Priority - they've been operating for the past 15 years,
long-time managed by the fit, slender Amanda, Tobago's
history-making first female Dive Instructor. Their locations
at Rex Turtle Beach & Tropikist Hotels and on the beach
at Pigeon Pt. make them easily accessible. Transported
in professionally equipped vessels the Manta crew covers
all of Tobago's main dive sites. Some examples are Store
Bay's Kariwak Reef - an easy dive for beginners
with views of lobsters, squids, eels and seahorses. If
you fancy night diving it's an ideal site.
Flying
Reef is a veritable fish haven - fulfillment in the
eyes of the beholder with Spotted Eagle Rays, passing
Barracudas, Turtles swimming lazily amongst the biggest
Nurse and Reef Sharks. See the huge 2 metre wide Barrel
Sponges at Divers Dream on a morning dive to view
the underwater wreck of an old car ferry lying in 30 metres
of water thereby creating an intriguing artificial dive
site at Mt. Irvine.

is the home of the magnificently beautiful Manta Rays, unique
in their shape and size. Chance your luck to hitch a ride
on one and while there see one of the world's largest Brain
Corals. Or go to Sisters Islands - home of the Hammerhead
Sharks and to St. Giles, which when under good conditions
have everything for the experienced diver. |
