You need to be creative in the entertainment business and they’ve
certainly got a head start, as Ian Milne aka Wabba is one of T&T’s
well-known and respected artists who’s had numerous exhibitions
and whose work has been featured in several international publications.
Wabba, together with his brother David, who manages the day-to-day operations of the venue, collaborated on the design of this truly unique venue. When the developers had to remove one of the ancient trees in the area to make way for the road-works, the brothers hit upon the idea of using its massive trunk and branches to create an open-sided Amazon Indian hut that’s at least forty feet from its thatched roof to tiled floor. The bar and seating also came from the ancient arbor and it’s certainly an eye catching and aesthetically pleasant piece of architecture. The D.J and live bands perform on a stage, which is set directly over the bar. It’s a neat idea that gives the grounds a sense of space and customers the enjoyment derived from being outdoors in the tropics. Opened recently, it attracts visitors and has proven a hit with the locals too. Every nite, the D.J.’s give them the latest riddims for dancing, liming and hooking-up with their friends. The Flair Bar is manned by a selection of young ‘flair artistes’ whose dexterity at flipping bottles while mixing cocktails needs to be seen to be believed. It’s a groove, it’s trendy and it’s a cool scene. If you’re gonna go out, you must check this out!! Open Wednesday to Sunday from 4 p.m ‘til late. BAR CODE Sports Bar & Grill
